On the 14^th – 18^th May, 2018, at the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI) organized the Training Program on “Professional Employee Development Program”. Chaired by Mr. Daovone PHACHANTHAVONG, Vice President of LNCCI, Ms. Tomoe WATANABE, Regional coordinator of The Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnership (AOTS), Japan and Ms. Rerei Faungaworn, Lecturer and Trainer of Technology Promotion Association (Thailand-Japan) (TPA). Representative from TK Group on training program are Ms. Khanthalay CHANTHAVONG, Human Resource Manager and Mr. Souvanna SENAPHUMY, Office Admin Manager.

TK Group was participating “Job Fair 2018” that was held between 04 – 08/05/2018 at Lao ITECC (Original Building). In the fair, there were many activities carried out such as: skillful activities, exhibitions of Skillful Sectors, legal and policies knowledge for employee from many different sectors.

Participating this fair was to open opportunity for post-graduated student who was interested in working with our company. The application atmosphere was adequately got attention from the participants and plenty of liveliness.

On the 26^th April 2018, there was a hand over ceremony of the Core Banking development project at the Nayoby Bank’s head office led by Mr. Thannakhone Thammavong, the president of TK Group, and Mr. Sengchanh Keosongseng, deputy director of Nayoby bank. The handover was also witnessed by Mr. Latsamy Souvanthong, the deputy director of Information Technology Department of the Bank of Laos and participated by the project team from both parties. The Nayoby Bank’s Core Banking development project was started since the end of 2014 and completed by the end of March 2018, which was 3 years and 3 months duration. After the ceremony, there was also a friendship football match between the company and the bank and followed by a warm dinner to celebrate the success of the project.

On 25/4/2017 Mr. Souvanna Senephoummy, Administrative Manager of TK Group Company Limited, joined the Grand Opening of SCG Roofing Center at Saythirath Group Company.

On 13^th April, 2018, TK Group Company Limited and Lao World Public Company organized Lao New Year Basi Ceremony. The event took place in Ocean Park and hosted by Mr. Thatnakhone Thammavong, President of TK Group Company Limited and Lao World Public Company. This joyful moment was participated by line managers, directors and staff from the two companies. During the ceremony, Mr. Thatnakhone took the opportunities to send best New Year wishes of happiness and prosperity to all participants.

After the Basi Ceremony, there were some activities in order to strengthen solidarity among the staff such as tube racing and rope-pulling games followed by Lao New Year lucky draws that filled the party with full of warmth and joy to welcome Lao New Year.

The official opening ceremony of TKI Life and TKI General Insurance Companies was held on 16^th March 2018 at Land Mark Hotel in Vientiane Capital.

The opening remark conducted by Ms. Siphonekham Douangdara, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the two companies. During her speech, Ms. Siphonekham announced that the companies has an ambition to achieve the target of becoming the leading insurance companies at international standard in order to highly satisfied customers, insurers and employees’ demands.

During the ceremony, the companies also hosted a lucky draw to offer VIP Customer personal accident, car and home insurance. For example, Sabaidee PA Plan-1 with 5 prizes worth a total of 25 million Kip, Sabaidee PA Plan-2 with 5 prizes worth a total of 50 million Kip per one unit. The lucky draw also included one prize for individual accident insurance, worth 250 million Kip in total, two prizes for car insurances, which are Smile Safe worth 420 million Kip and Smile Plus worth 720 million Kip. The last but not least prize was for home insurance in the total value of 1.5 million Kip.

Supper Cool Air conditioner opened a booth in the Lao products exhibition event or Made in Laos 2018 which took place at Lao ITECC from 14-18 March 2018. We were proud to promote our Supper Cool air conditioning products that come together with special promotion and discount for the exhibition visitors.

The Grand Opening of Thongkhankham Shopping Center was held on Monday morning, 19^th March, 2018. The ceremony hosted by Mr. Thatnakhone Thammavong, the President of Lao World’s Public Company’s board of management  together with Madam Siphonekham Douangdara,  vice president and delegations. The honorable and distinguish guests led by Dr. Sinlavong Khoutphaithoun, Member of Politburo, Party Secretary and the Governor of Vientiane Capital, Mr. Keophilavanh Amphailath, Vice Governor of Vientiane Capital, Madam Khamvane Sinbandith, Deputy Director of Cultural and Social Committee, People Assembly, Madam Bouavone Darasane, Deputy Governor of Chanthabury District, Mr. Berrin Phetchanthalath, Director of Department of Industry and Commerce, Vientiane.

Besides that, the participants of the ceremony were from different sectors such as chiefs public divisions in Vientiane capital and Chanthabouly district, 30 chiefs of villages, representative of Chinese and Vietnamese Communities, shop owners in Thongkhankham shopping center, teachers and students from the surrounding areas.

The ceremony agenda included a speech on Thonhkhankham Shopping Center background story by Mr. Sibountham Sibounmy, Deputy Director of Lao World Public Company, followed by cultural shows performed by students from 10 schools in Chanthabouly district.

In order to express the gratitude to the presence of the Lao Party and Government, Lao World presented flower bouquets to the honorable Vientiane Governor. The official opening ceremony concluded by the Governor of Vientiane beating a gong for 9 times, ribbons cutting, freeing balloons and lunch reception.
