The Grand Opening of Thongkhankham Shopping Center was held on Monday morning, 19^th March, 2018. The ceremony hosted by Mr. Thatnakhone Thammavong, the President of Lao World’s Public Company’s board of management  together with Madam Siphonekham Douangdara,  vice president and delegations. The honorable and distinguish guests led by Dr. Sinlavong Khoutphaithoun, Member of Politburo, Party Secretary and the Governor of Vientiane Capital, Mr. Keophilavanh Amphailath, Vice Governor of Vientiane Capital, Madam Khamvane Sinbandith, Deputy Director of Cultural and Social Committee, People Assembly, Madam Bouavone Darasane, Deputy Governor of Chanthabury District, Mr. Berrin Phetchanthalath, Director of Department of Industry and Commerce, Vientiane.

Besides that, the participants of the ceremony were from different sectors such as chiefs public divisions in Vientiane capital and Chanthabouly district, 30 chiefs of villages, representative of Chinese and Vietnamese Communities, shop owners in Thongkhankham shopping center, teachers and students from the surrounding areas.

The ceremony agenda included a speech on Thonhkhankham Shopping Center background story by Mr. Sibountham Sibounmy, Deputy Director of Lao World Public Company, followed by cultural shows performed by students from 10 schools in Chanthabouly district.

In order to express the gratitude to the presence of the Lao Party and Government, Lao World presented flower bouquets to the honorable Vientiane Governor. The official opening ceremony concluded by the Governor of Vientiane beating a gong for 9 times, ribbons cutting, freeing balloons and lunch reception.

On the 7th March 2018 at 17:00, TK organized an internal  solidarity gathering chaired by Mr. Thatnakhone Thammavong, the president of TK Group Company Limited. This warm and meaningful event was also participated by line managers, male and female officers to remark the importance of women’s roles in society and at work

On the 23^rd of February 2018, there was the Handing-over Ceremony of Vientiane Capital’s Department of Information, Culture and Tourism New Office. The ceremony was between Mr. Thatnakhone Thammavong, President of TK Group and Mr.  Khampadith Khemmany, Head of the Department of Information, Culture and Tourism. The ceremony was held in NongBeuk Tai village, Sikhottabong district, Vientiane Capital where the new office is situated. The ceremony was also attended by a number of distinguished guests who came to congratulate the new building.

The project of Vientiane Capital’s Department of Information, Culture and Tourism Office started since the 20^th of February 2015 and finished on the 30^th January 2018 taking up to 3 years to complete

TK Supports Sole Company Limited joined ICT EXPO 2018, this an international ICT Exhibition and Conference organized by Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications which tookplace from 24-28 January 2018 at LAO ITECC in Vientiane Capital.

Joining the ICT EXPO 2018 was a great opportunity for TK Supports to promote its outstanding products such as the Lao-Thai Friendship Bridge Smart Card which is an electronic toll bridge payment that be refilled by a mobile banking application BCEL ONE. During the event, there were also some special promotions and discounts available for clients and booth visitors.

Other outstanding products of TK Support is the ongoing projects such as Currency Exchange Report System, Core Banking System, Office Security System, IT System for a Special Economic Zone in Vientiane and other relevant projects.

Joining the ICT EXPO this year helped TK to promote its products and it was another important step for TK to grow its business in IT sector.

On 12 January, 2017, the TK Group Company Limited organized its 2017 annual meeting supervised and led by Mr. Thatnakhone Thammavong, the president of TK Group and by management committee. The meeting was participated by TK staff, guesses and business partners. It was a great opportunity for TK to report what have been completed in 2017 and to outline strategic plans for the upcoming year. At the end of the meeting, there was a company awards ceremony for a staff who won a Staff of the Year Prize, Ms. Don Chanda, a housekeeper and a staff who won a Popular Vote Prize, Ms, Savivanh Souvannam, a marketing officer. The event was completed by a joyful New Year 2018 celebration, the cultural performance by TK staff and the new year gift lucky draw.

On the 25 December 2017, to welcoming the New Year 2018, Mr. Thatnakhone Thammavong, the President of TK Group Company Limited together with all managers and staff, participated in the gift exchange activity among all staff from the companies and departments under TK Group. This warm and joyful activity has been organized every year and it always brought smile and laugher to the participants. After exchanging the new year presents, managers and staff also presented gift baskets and flowers to the TK President and the Executive Vice President.
