TK Group Company Limited (TK Group) was established in 2015. Its initial business activities were information and technology by TK Support to provide office security system services with the registered capital of 2 billion Lao Kip. TK Group has eventually grown and expanded. There are 10 subsidiaries in total and one of them is TPD Company Limited (TPD), established in 2016. TPD is the largest real estate development company in Laos focusing on the construction of five-star hotel and resort, multipurpose commercial building, condominium and office in the center of Vientiane capital and in other main districts nationwide.

TPD signed an agreement with Hilton Worldwide on 16 March 2016 to construct a hotel and bring design and services under Double Tree by Hilton brand to the Lao PDR. The construction of the hotel has commenced in Xieng Nyeuen village, Chantabouly district, Vientiane Capital and the new hotel is named as Double Tree by Hilton Vientiane.

Double Tree by Hilton Vientiane is a hotel of Hilton Worldwide brand which traditionally established in 1969, currently there are 450 branches in 47 countries around the world with more than 130,000 hotel rooms.

The ground breaking ceremony of Double Tree by Hilton Vientiane took place in 8 September 2019 in Xieng Nyeuen village, Chantabouly district, Vientiane Capital. The ceremony was participated by TK Group and representatives of the relevant government sectors, construction companies and Hilton Worldwide.

Double Tree by Hilton Vientiane will be the first hotel represents Hilton Worldwide brand, located on Rue Setthathilath and Rue Manthatourath, close to That Dam: an iconic stupa in the heart of the city centre. When it opens, the hotel will also offer business and leisure travelers easy access to key tourist attractions such as the Sisaket Temple, Presidential Palace and the Riverside Night Market. The 188-room hotel expected to start operating in 2022.

on 6^th July 2019, TK Group Company Limited organized a workshop on “Time Management” provided by SGS Company Limited and lectured by coach Thanadej Thipayapichayakul from Thailand. The purposes of the workshop are to

• Increase understanding and knowledge on time management.
• Improve effective time management skill, method and strategy.
• Build awareness of effort, capital and important role of time management.
• Assist participants in learning and experiment time planning and managing their daily lives.
• Improve knowledge on how to manage the assigned task, reduction of conflict and workplace organization.

The workshop on Effective Time Management provided the interesting keys and tools to organize schedules started by setting goals, note taking and record and live planning in order to minimizing low income and time wasting  activities. Addition, the workshop provided technique on how to effectively organize daily life and the surrounded environment. The participants filled the workshop activities and games with full of idea exchange and joy.

On the 5^th July, 2019, TK Group Company Limited organized a workshop on “Effective Supervisory Skills” provided by SGS Company Limited and lectured by coach Thanadej Thipayapichayakul from Thailand. The purposes of the workshop are to

• Improve knowledge and skill on effective manager.
• Improve knowledge and skill on leadership and basic management.
• Explore new ideas and understanding in order to adjust and develop work effectiveness.

The workshop was percolated by directors and managers from TK and its subsidiaries such as TK Group Company Limited, TK Support Company Limited, Supercool Sole Company Limited, TPD Company Limited and Lao Word Public Company. Participants had filled up the atmosphere of workshop by actively exchanged experiences and ideas and played games together with full of joy.

On 12^th April, 2019, TK Group Company Limited, Lao World Public Company and TKI Insurance organized Lao New Year Basi Ceremony. at the ocean park ITECC

TK Group Company joined the 7^th Job Fair Anniversary that took place in the Faculty of Economics and Business and Administration, National University of Laos on 5 April 2019. The career fair booth of TK Group received a satisfaction level of attention from students and participating guests.

The National Outstanding Student Awarding Ceremony for the scholar year 2018-2019  was held in the National University of Laos on 29/3/2019. The Ceremony led by Associate Professor Khamphai Sisavanh, Vice Minister of Education and Sports. Mr. Souvanna Senaphoummy, Administrative Manager represented TK Group Company Limited to participate in this event. There were also traditional dances performed by students  which brought full of joy to the ceremony before presenting the prizes and scholarships to the winner and the runner-up of the Outstanding Student Contest.  In order to support the outstanding students, TK Group contributed the program in cash worth 5,000,000 LAK.

On the 7th March 2019 at 16:00, TK organized an internal  solidarity gathering chaired by Mr. Thatnakhone Thammavong, the president of TK Group Company Limited. This warm and meaningful event was also participated by line managers, male and female officers to remark the importance of women’s roles in society and at work

The Annual Meeting for the year 2018 and the remark on 30^th anniversary of Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI) was held on 23 January 2019 at National Convention Center. The meeting was participated by the honored guest, H.E. Thongloun Sisoulith, the Prime Minister of the Lao PDR.

On this opportunity, Mr. Thatnakhone Thammavong, President of the TK Group received the 30^th Anniversary LNCCI Business Award 2019 presented by Mr. Oudet Souvannavong, the president of Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI), for the outstanding contribution of TK Group in strengthening business sectors over the previous years.

On Friday February 18^th, 2019. The TK Group Company Limited organized the 5th TK Group’s Annual Meeting 2018, the meeting supervised and led by Mr. Thatnakhone Thammavong, the president of TK Group and by management committee. The meeting was participated by guesses, TK staff. It was a significant time for TK to reflect on the performance of 2018 and to outline strategic plans for TK and its subsidiaries such as TK Support, TK Capital, TPD, Total Lubricants, Supercool, TKI Life Insurance and Lao World for the upcoming year.  At the end of the meeting, there was an award ceremony for the Staff of the Year, Mr. Mek Barnlueviengxai, Chauffeur for TK Group.

After the meeting, there was the New Year 2019 celebration where Lao Traditional Dancing Performance by TK staff took place.  Specially, the party hold Ms & Mr TK of the year 2018-2019. Ms. Homphaeng Simaya and Mr. Sundy Oulayvong were our winners of this contest.

Beside the party, TK also hosted a lucky draw to offer the staff special and exciting new year. This event was completed with happiness, harmony and full of joy

On the 25 December 2018, to welcoming the New Year 2019, Mr. Thatnakhone Thammavong, the President of TK Group Company Limited together with all managers and staff, participated in the gift exchange activity among all staff from the companies and departments under TK Group. This warm and joyful activity has been organized every year and it always brought smile and laugher to the participants. After exchanging the new year presents, managers and staff also presented gift baskets and flowers to the TK President and the Executive Vice President.
